SHINE 2- Monologues

Our Monologue showcases were so much fun.  These were  20-second memorized pieces that we wrote and prepared before SHINE.  We had fun writing these funny instances from real-life experiences that each of us have had.  I was so proud in particular of our kiddos...they had to memorize 3 of these monologues before our acting coaches selected one for us to perfect and present at the convention.  Tag- at 4 years old- rocked it!  They all did.....see for yourself!

Tag was always the FIRST performer out on the stage- he was #2 out of about 600 performers....and there wasn't a #1. :)  So he didn't have anyone to watch go before him.  So proud of our big 4-year old!
Tag's monologue was about having a nerf gun war- and "totally annihilating" Daddy when he got home from work!

Beth's monologue was a cute story about a visit to the zoo with her Granny Boo....

....and how she roared back at the big male lion!

Faith Anna talked about how her nickname is "Icepack"...

...because she can be accident-prone and sometimes runs into the furniture.  :)

Logan did a product endorsement for nerf guns....

and a monologue about an "awkward" moment at a nursing home one Christmas when we went to carol for elderly residents.

Luke's monologue was about a time when he was hitting the tennis ball for Deets....and accidentally hit Faith Anna (then 2) in the back!

Mine was about how Luke proposed...with my ring sliding down a kite string!
