Spring in Bloom

One of my favorite things to do in Dallas in the spring is go to the Arboretum and see the tulips.  Since our anniversary is in March, we try to go each year and celebrate.  This year we had an extra treat...our neighbor Dean Brown went with us.  He is a wonderful man and has just taken our kids under his wing this year.  He loves the Lord with all his heart and is full of all kinds of wisdom and experience.  Plus, he's a "Master Gardner" by trade, so we learned things about flowers that we never knew before!  There are lots of pics....so consider yourself warned.  Hope you enjoy!

Tag smelled every flower he passed.... made for a leisurely stroll around the grounds. :)

Love his dimple...

Here is Mr. Dean with the kids.

These were Faith's and my favorite tulips...

...and Tag smelling them....

Luke got this pretty butterfly right as it landed on the tulip.

When Tag wasn't smelling flowers, he was climbing on every available structure.

At the end of the day, Mr. Dean decided to bestow on Logan his title of "Master Gardner".  See the badge that's now on Logan's shirt?  He thought that was pretty cool. :)

My honey and I by the yellow tulips.  I love yellow flowers.  Makes me feel all shiny on the inside... :)
